Butinox No 1, by Jotun, is our preservative of choice. We offer this in 9 stock shades. It is a spirit-based, microporous preservative which lets wood breathe and it is translucent so that the grain of the timber can be seen through the stain.

The Sadolin range of timber preservative has a broad colour pallette. We have recently added Sadolin Classic Celery Leaf (translucent) and Sadolin Superdec Jungle Green (opaque) to our stock choice.

Sadolin Classic is spirit based and Sadolin Superdec is water based.

Please remember not to use a water-based preservative over a spirit-based one.

We can obtain colours outwith our standard range but we may need to make a small handling charge.
