All heavy duty sheds are constructed using 19mm thick tongue and groove redwood and 75mm x 38mm framing* on the wall panels. Roofs are made using tongue & groove weatherboard and a 75mm x 38mm frame. The standard roof covering is a polyester based felt, strapped down with roofing strips. Floors are also 19mm tongue & groove boards on a 75mm x 50mm pressure treated frame. If you need more information please ask.
Up to and including a 7' panel, the shed comes with one fixed window as standard. For 8' panels and over, 2 fixed windows are included in the cost. All exposed ironmongery is galvanised and all exposed timber is treated with a base coat of Butinox No 1 wood stain. You will need to re-treat the building as soon as possible after delivery. Prices include VAT, delivery within a 30-mile radius of Errol and erection onto a suitably level site. A delivery charge of £2.00 per mile over the boundary may be made on longer deliveries.
For those of you who prefer to uplift the building from the workshop and erect it yourself, a discount of 10% is offered. There is no discount on 'delivery only' as labour-time saved is negligible. The eaves height of all sheds is always 5'10" (this is the low side in a pent shed). The apex (or high side in a pent shed) varies according to the size of shed you choose. Please ask if you require more information. The eaves height is from the floor of the building and does not include blocks and bearers. Blocks are approx 4" high and bearers approx 3". Blocks and bearers are supplied with the shed . *Buildings 10' x 8' and under use 50mm x 40mm framing instead.
