This studio was designed to give maximum space and maximum light to provide an ideal environment for drawing and painting. The studio was erected in the garden of a local artist, in order to provide a more appropriate space to work in. The walls, roof and floor are heavily insulated, providing a warm and comfortable environment for working all year round. The studio is positioned to allow as much light in as possible, through the large, almost uninterrupted expanse of windows. With a tall internal ceiling to provide the space necessary to fit a full size artists easel.

Although the building is very large, it was designed fit in with the surroundings, almost blending into the space. By keeping the design of the building simple, it does not detract from the surrounding garden or space.
